This is the kind of epicness that you can expect from SITC 2011. First downtown mural, and it couldn’t have turned out better!
2 DAYS TO SITC 2011!
Beautiful day in the D! Some of the crew is painting a Spirit of Detroit mural at Checkers Bar and Grill downtown. Not to boast, but this may be one of our best yet!
(New Center, 2008) The Tetris mural (which, sadly, has since been torn down) is one of my favorite murals we’ve done. I’ll admit, when we were sketching it out, it was miserable (chalking in tiny squares on a hot, hot day). But I drove past it a couple days after it was all painted in, and I just had to smile and say, “Worth it.” 9 DAYS TO SITC 2011
