“ Sunny days and crazy fun can only mean one thing: Summer in the City filled action! Having gone to the youth enrichment sites everyday so far, I’ve really gotten close with the kids and their signature styles. From Jayvier’s infamous status to Deshawn’s rap, every week our friendship only grows stronger. With an increasing number of kids, new personalities and faces continuously emerge. As for the entertainment, I can always find Samyah and Destiny creating new dance routines—namely Michael Jackson inspired moves! The Glazer kids have definitely kept me busy this year, but have also cultivated my inner child. The final Friday barbecue will be a sad ending but also a wonderful celebration of another successful summer in the D!
